Annual Horse Cave Heritage Festival
The Horse Cave Heritage Festival consists of craft artisans, games, antique tractors, cars, and trucks and an array of business and food booths. It is held the 3rd weekend of September. Each year thousand of local and visiting residents come to celebrate the heritage of this small community, often gathering as families and friends to remember a more simple time.

Hidden River Cave & American Cave Museum
The Hidden River Cave & American Cave Museum is located at 119 E. Main St. in historic downtown, Horse Cave, Kentucky. Our historic cave tour will take you through one of Kentucky's largest & most scenic historic cave entrances where two subterranean rivers flow over one-hundred feet below ground. Walk across the world's longest underground swinging bridge and experience sites not seen since 1943.
Come explore the beauty of Hidden River Cave by taking a cave tour or an off-trail wild cave adventure, zipline across or rappel down the region's largest cave entrance. Cave it, Crawl it, Zip it, Rappel it! Don't forget to check out the museum and gift shop before you leave.

Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo
Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo is a fun, interactive animal park with a beautiful, historic cave on site. Visitors can roam with kangaroos, become a tree perch for Rainbow Lorikeets as you feed them nectar, watch border collies work their magic with sheep, take a 30-minute guided cave tour, and visit an interactive animal and bird show. Horse Cave Stories Cell Phone Tour
Check out Horse Cave's award-winning cell phone walking tour that showcases the history and culture of the tiny town built on top of a cave. The tour is linked to horsecavestories.com that is full of stories about tobacco farming, cave wars, Harlem Globetrotters, the Kentucky Repertory Theater, the town's narrow streets, feuds and much more.
The 20-stop tour begins right downtown Horse Cave and takes about 30 minutes. You can even scan bar codes with your smart phone and go directly to the website while you're touring. Or just check out the website from home, and make plans for a later visit.
